For the woman who just wants to come and enjoy immersing in the wilds of Northumberland, without the therapy, coaching, and counselling. Although I can’t promise that the magic won’t still happen!
If you want some time out for an adventure or three, whilst being led by an open water safety specialist, qualified walking guide and professional Outdoor Therapist, come join me. There’ll be less outdoor therapy on these retreats, in that we won’t be working towards helping you move through particular issues or concerns, but you will inevitably feel better after our experiences.
If you don’t have three days to spare, I also offer 2 Day (1 night) experiential retreats. These fit very nicely into a weekend, and I promise that you’ll feel like you’ve had way more than 2 days away!
The day will still look similar to the therapeutic retreats, but there won’t be any underlying witchy intentions on my part. Instead of working towards particular goals, we’ll be focusing on making the most of our time together in the wilds, living in the moment, and enjoying all that the outdoors offers us.
Back home, you’ll then have plenty of time before and after dinner to chill. During the therapeutic retreats this time is normally spent talking through and processing ‘stuff’, but here I’ll make myself scarce after we’ve eaten, and get on with the Tinkerbell jobs behind the scenes, so you’re welcome to relax in whatever way suits.
In the Autumn and Winter I could light the fire pit out in the garden and you can huddle under a blanket watching the flames. Or you can read in your suite or the lounge or the sunroom. Or you can enjoy a long leisurely bath with the fancy Northumbrian bath salts or oils. Or you can paint, knit, crochet, draw, write. Or you can lie on the floor with the cat and daydream. Whatever floats your boat.
Please note that as these are experiential rather than therapeutic retreats, if you do raise issues that would be better addressed in a therapeutic setting, I will ask that we park whatever you have raised for now, and work with it in the future either during a therapeutic retreat, or online support sessions.
